Introduction to Our Strings Program

The Strings Program is a short course designed for students to have a jumpstart learning experience to one of four stringed instruments, the violin, viola, cello or the double bass.

Choose either the Violin, Viola, Cello or Double Bass

Students will choose one of these four instruments to learn for a period of two terms, in which they will learn the fundamental basics of playing the instrument in a group setting.

Classes will be conducted in groups of 2 to 4 students per class according to their instrument of choice.

When learning a stringed instrument for the first time, it is important the learning experience of the student is engaging and enjoyable. Not only will they collaborate with other students in their group class, but during the term they will collaborate with all the stringed instruments together as they prepare for an exciting performance at our school concerts.
