An accelerated pathway to learning piano

The Piano Express is our method of choice in building a strong foundation in learning the piano as it gamifies their experience of learning, making it engaging, motivating and fun. It produces incredible students and studies show that students can progress up to 6x faster in Piano Express than students learning the piano in the traditional way.

How Does it Work?

Student Discovery

Students attend a one-hour small Piano Express group class, with the first half dedicated to individual assessment and the second half to musicianship, ear training, sight-reading and music theory.

At-Home Practice

Students leave each class feeling empowered to make meaningful progress at home, with the confidence to keep improving between lessons. This makes piano practice at more productive, motivating, and much more enjoyable.

Setting Up a Strong Foundation

Students who complete all six levels of our program are thoroughly equipped to begin formal music examinations, including those offered by the AMEB (Australian Music Examinations Board)

Piano Express nurtures independent musical learning while fostering collaboration through engaging group activities that build musicianship, aural skills, music theory and performance.

Each class will have a maximum of 6 students.

Each class will run for 60 minutes.

Yes – as the class duration is generally longer than a private music lesson, the teacher will still have individual and dedicated time with each student.

The format of the group class is a combination of private and collaborative learning, which helps with students’ progress and enjoyment of learning to play piano.

Students ages 6-12 years old are suited for Piano Express.

Piano Express is most suitable for students who are new or in the early stages of learning the piano.

Piano Express gives beginner students a more motivating start than traditional private lessons.

Students learn in a small group, build independence, and enjoy structured lessons that combine expert teaching with engaging technology.

This leads to more confident learning, easier home practice, and a strong foundation for future private lessons.

Yes – our Introductory Class will give you an experience of a Piano Express Class. This will be an introduction to the class format and software, as well as a private assessment of the student’s skill and level to see which class is best suited.

Introductory Classes are $37.00 for 30 minutes (incl. GST)
