The students at Cantabile are at the heart of everything we do.

Student Performances

Our students have many opportunities to share their progress throughout the year. From intimate school workshops to full-scale concerts. Each event celebrates the growth and achievements of our students at every level.

While these events are optional, they are a great opportunity for our students to build confidence and to showcase all they have been learning.

Witness some of our highlight performances from our students.

Cantabile School Orchestra

The Cantabile School Orchestra brings together students from across our school to make music as a community. Open to our string students who are ready to play in an ensemble setting, the orchestra gives students the chance to experience playing in an ensemble and to make music together with other like-minded musicians.

Our Cantabile School Orchestra performs regularly at our Mid-Year and End of Year Student Concerts.

Celebrating culture, diversity and inclusion

Students at the Cantabile School of Music view music as more than learning notes on a page. It’s about community, culture, and belonging.

Here are students from our Cantabile School Orchestra share their thoughts on a piece inspired by diversity and inclusion, while showing what these values mean to them as young musicians.

Masterclasses and Workshops

Masterclasses are a unique opportunity for students to learn from both their teachers and their peers. In a supportive group environment, students perform for one another and receive constructive feedback that helps refine their skills and deepen their confidence.

At times, we also invite renowned guest teachers and examiners to lead our masterclasses. These special sessions give students the chance to gain insights from some of the most respected figures in music education, providing fresh perspectives and inspiration as they prepare for their own musical goals.
