Complete an AMEB Music Theory Grade in One Week

Our Express Music Theory Program is a focused, in-person holiday course designed to help students complete an entire AMEB Music Theory Grade confidently and effectively within a single week.

Through clear explanations, guided practice and discussions, students grasp essential theory concepts quickly and meaningfully to complete the examination at the end of the course.

  • Students preparing for their AMEB Grade 5 Practical or higher on their instrument

  • Students who want to fast-track their progress in Music Theory in a structured and supportive environment

  • Students who would like to get ahead and complete the Music Theory Grades early.

In most cases, yes. Many of our students go on to complete their AMEB theory exams successfully right after the program, often with excellent results. Readiness is determined by both student commitment during the course and teacher recommendation.

As the content is more difficult in higher grades, additional support may be needed before completing the examination.

We understand that every student is different. While the Express Music Theory Program is intensive, our teachers provide support throughout and adapt pacing where possible.

Private Music Theory lessons are another option for students who wish to pace their studies for Music Theory.

We currently offer AMEB Theory courses from Grade 1 through to Grade 4, depending on demand.

Higher levels may be arranged upon request.

We use the AMEB Music Theory Workbook for our Music Theory classes.
