Are you new to teaching music?
Often new music teachers are left to learn and discover for themselves all there is to know about teaching music. This leads to a lot of trial and error, which can, unfortunately impede a student’s musical advancement and potential.
A significant reason for this is the limited amount of resources and training there is in equipping and guiding new teachers to start a career in teaching music.
The Cantabile School of Music makes it a priority to guide and support anyone who has a desire to start a career in teaching music, as long as they have an open mind to learn, a commitment to develop and improve the skills to teach what they love.
Although no prior experience in teaching is necessary, it is important the below requirements are met. Please consider these items carefully in order for you to be successful to work with us:
Ever since I started working at Cantabile since 2016, it has been a great pleasure to be a part of them to work as a team. All teachers and staff members are very friendly and caring. I have also met so much wonderful students who are enthusiastic and eager to learn.
I love how Cantabile support teachers with meetings and giving us opportunities to learn and improve. They also have lots of resources for the teachers to use. The admin team is very organised and professional, and they are always there to help me out with everything I need.
Everyone helps each other to build a strong teaching methodology. We often have teacher meetings and I find it very helpful to talk to other teachers. Every teacher at Cantabile are very passionate and encouraging!
