The Cantabile Youth String Ensembles play a variety of music, including specialised arrangements tailored to fit each group’s level. Join together with other like-minded musicians to prepare selected pieces and perform their prepared repertoire. Each ensemble meets weekly for the school term. Members are expected to attend all rehearsals and performances.
What is an ensemble?
An ensemble is just a fancy word for a group of musicians playing together. It can be trickier than it sounds as it requires musicians to collaborate together, to listen to each other and to play in harmony.
